Why do we need both head and saw Phillip right?
I think this is stupid. Whenever I can find the Phillips screwdriver I a flat-head screws, and vice versa. Once in a great while, I saw one that some genius put in a position either – it is a screw with a Phillips slot to accommodate more than a flathead screwdriver too. So why not do both homes of Phillips longer? Why do we need two types at all? Ahhhhhhh! I suppose that "Why do I keep track of my screwdriver? would be an entirely separate issue:)
I work as an electrician / handyman and I do not. But I know that most of the time using hand tools, you can get more torque on a flathead screw vs. a head of Philips. You also have a tendency to strip the Philips head screws, mostly due to several shallow grooves. But using a drill to install the screws and where speed counts … Philips head better than nothing. It will not slide head saw as a flat head would. Plus I go to dish is a huge pain when using a drill.
