Tuning Class
How I can prevent a child from advanced optimization in kindergarten.
My daughter is 5 years old but has been reading for a year can be written in uppercase, lowercase, and is trying to teach herself italics. It can also mean many words on their own, can counting money, and simple addition and subtraction. She goes to public school in GA. Not necessarily want to put it in a class with children a year (or even think to do much more), but I fear it will be like his father – intelligent, bored, and the fight goes to school all his life. I have not found a school accessible, private secular, the as public school's all for now. Suggestions? Thanks.
I taught K for 7 years and had many students like her daughter. Here are some things I've done as a teacher, so you can ask if you can do for your daughter, so: 1. bring higher level math / word books to work in the activity, while other countries at their level. 2. keep a book of their choice to school to read for a few minutes or to the class or during the time of election. 3. Make sure participates in the game with other children! 4. If she is really advanced and see if she can go to first grade math, which I did with two of my students. 5. Discuss it Reading her diary that she could work while others work on letter identification.
