I have several white tubes growing on my tomato plant branches, the ideas this?

No Tomatoes develop roots of all the stem touches the ground and they are root nodules – no need to worry. And lay Sevin … Unless you have a visible serious insect pest which is in danger of killing your plants, you should not use strong insecticides around plants you plan to eat. Sevin should be a last resort, and not used as a preventive.
