I NEED HELP How can I use my fishtank rock cleaning tube?
I have this tube thing that has been given to i dont know how I use it for cleaning of rocks in your aquarium hear your sappose to suck water into the tube, then use a bucket to pour water into the tube icky.
Connect the Tygon tubing to the largest collection tube. Keep your bucket underneath the tank to fill the largest tube with water and allow it to run at the end of the tube of smaller, use your thumb to stop the water there. Charge the siphon under the water and Release your thumb. Start digging the end (siphon off) in the gravel and sand that allows you to climb slightly in the tube. This will draw the waste gravel and drop it back to the tank floor. You will see the dirty water through the tube and into the bucket. If you find that you are removing more water to clean the tank as you like, use your net w / cheesecloth or coffee filter and water pass. Dump in the tank (clean water) and provide the service. Once you've done a good cleaning, you will not have this problem on a weekly basis. Do not suck your mouth with water. Remember to clean only 25% of water on a weekly basis. If you do not have the entire tank, saving for the next water change.
