How can you diagnose a tattoo infection?
Here's the JIST: I got my tattoo 4 others the same man. Always using sterile equipment. Well, a couple days ago I had another piece of work, one just below my right armpit below my pantline. There's just a little yellow-ish color in my skin up on the side and in the middle of the tattoo. I looked online and I do shows no signs of infection – redness, streaking, puss, does not hurt to touch (I worked a factory job and went to work the same day with no problem), etc – but judging from my four, I can say this is probably not normal (lol) … index?
It could be some residual bruising real tattoo, or just skin aggivated the underarm area. If you use Deoderant and placed in the newly tattooed skin, it might be aggrivated. Also, the underarm area is a wetland in most people in other parts of the body. Well, excluding some places normallly held under bushel, and feet. Could also be irritated by some chemical floating around your workplace. It does not look like a reaction to the dye, in fact it does not appear infected. Infected tattoos usually do not leave you asking the question and response will usually cause blistering and peeling of the skin. When I was stationed in the United Kingdom, I saw a tattoo will hurt when the guys reacted to the dye. Was not pretty, and there was No doubt, the tattoo was in difficulty. I have seen others with the residual yellowish color, and has always been said that it was just a local skin irritation. If it is not clear in a few days, or if you start to see something suspicious, or it becomes tender, definitely go see the doc. If they treat it early enough, sometimes they can save your tattoo and your skin. Otherwise, if it moves away from you is a cure hard. The guy I mentioned ended up with a derm-shaving and laser treatment, and an ugly scar. He had other tattoos before, and they never understand what went wrong this time. Personally, I am too chicken to get one I rather be on the other side needle! But yours gets pretty hopeful, and good luck.
