Headers? How to put on the shorty headers Allocation and Expenditure my car?
I have a Mustang GT 03 and I already have a tube on the ground H and flowmasters, which I thought was full of exhaust. Then someone said in order for me to have full exhaust I need heads. So if I buy and put them on my car do you think I notice it is faster or stronger or to obtain a better gas mileage or what kind of key?
Any change to a set of headers will not make much noticeable difference. It will reduce restriction in the exhaust flow, but unless we compare the figures on a bench, do you really feel a difference. If you are looking for a real increase, you'll need to replace the camshaft, port match the heads, remap the computer, and replace the injectors. Remember, the more horse power, more fuel consumption.
