Knitting needles of different sizes?
I want to knit a baby blanket for my baby sister. I need size 10 needles, but all that I have a 10 1 / 2 needle needle and one 11 because of my dog going to town on my supplies knitting. Would it be that much difference if I used the needle as a knitting together of the cover? I'm not too concerned about the overall size of the coverage.
The stitches on two needles will be slightly different sizes. If this is not a problem with the gauge in the model you've selected, then go ahead and use the 10-1/2 and 11 – they are close enough that there should be no problem with the voltage of your son. In fact, sometimes when I can not get the template pattern using a pair of needles, I use split pairs to obtain gauge. (I hope you do not think you'd invented, lol.)
