What is the cheapest way to build a workshop?
I want to build an art studio on my land. I watched the steel buildings, and I want to know if there is a cheaper way to build a large open space. very simple, some outlets, perhaps a bathroom, but overall, a large open space with perhaps a garage door type. wood frame may be like a barn, or ash blocks. I also want some good windows for light. nobody knows how much something like that cost?
Watch a "Pole Barn" design or post and the perimeter lenses with prefabricated trusses @ 4 'on center w / metal roof. You can dry your building (being all nearing completion of the roof) and later established a concrete foundation later. Most farms and ranch supply stores are building of packages that you can simply order from a catalog. I receive at least 5 or 6 quotes from different manufacturers. You'd be surprised how much can vary. Remember, have the quote apples to apples. Do not change the specifications.
