Anti-eyebrow piercing with plastic bar, does this higher chance/ speed of rejection?
Would’ve asked my piercer when i got it done, but it didn’t really cross my mind at the time.

The anti-eyebrow is a surface piercing, and therefore has high chance of rejection. The plastic bar doesn’t really increase/decrease your chances of rejection over a standard metal bar, but a properly shaped surface bar would have decreased the risk of rejection. The good news, though, is the face tends to hold surface piercings better than most other areas of the body, so you may get lucky. There’s no specific time frame for rejection, it can happen in just a few weeks, or it may not happen for 6 months or more.
Do yourself a huge favor, if it starts to look like it’s rejecting (bright redness, tenderness, excessive oozing/crusting, outward movement), take it out right away or you may end up with nasty scarring.
