In photoshop how do you skin a perfect person? (as in magazines?)?
Obviously I use the healing tool but there are also all the variants of different skin color and everything … I sometimes blur to get rid of it. Suggestions like that you use? I also whiten the whites of the eyes and teeth.
Sounds like you have a decent understanding of the various tools in PS. Something I have heard and used: Duplicate your layer, then use "Surface Blur" as opposed to the regular fuzzy options. That's a good job with skin. Then use a layer mask to paint away the stuff you do not want change. Here's one I found for myself: Jump in the shade and saturation of the red target and reduce a little. You get a pretty good result. I have not tried on darker skin tones, but I would like imageine it still works. In fact, I have only done in Camera Raw and used HSL sliders, but the red target in Hue / Saturation should be the same thing.
