Replacement windows are always this expensive?
My house has old inefficient aluminum windows and I think to replace it. I was a salesman for Champion Windows out because they have this "40% off" sale in progress (yeah right! Lol) He said he would be about $ 600 per window after 40% discount … $ 1,000 through the windscreen off! Is this what I can expect from other companies? If it will be so dear that we'll just buy windows from Lowes and install them yourself.
Not impossible. How big are your windows? I suppose you `re the upgrade. If you `re looking in a unit upper end of that price is probably right in the ballpark. If you `re looking to tell windows Vinyl, yeah you `re get scammed. Price of units corresponding to Lowes or HD. Most of the time their time really sucked, but mostly their roadmaps installation is acceptable and their guarantees are good.
