Professional dancers tribal, how long it took you to get good?

I studied for about tribal bellydance a year and a half .. I have a lot of basic moves down (belly rolls, hip shimmy, shoulder shimmy, etc.) but I think it is difficult to use while dancing Zils and refined hand movements of the arms / … anyway, I wondered how long it took to reach a professional level ..

With any type of tribal belly dance or not, it will take about two years or more to dance at a professional level. Some people move faster than that, but it's rare. Many people take longer than this, but still make it one day. If this is your goal, I would say, you'll probably be at this level sometimes between 2-5 years. From what it sounds like if I guess your almost there already. If you arm movements largest field problems, you can try to focus a little practice time for most and perhaps buy DVDs that focus specifically on weapons (even if they do not specifically focus on your style, they can still help to improve circulation throughout the flow and presentation your arm movements). I would also like your instructor know that your goal is to dance professionally and then ask him to help you develop the skills necessary and refine your technique (or recommend someone who can, if nothing else). Zills are however a different story. On average it takes 3-5 years Zills control and dance with them and you must do almost every time you practice. I suggested that they play while you walk around the house get used to travel with them. Do not get discouraged if it takes you more than 2 years to be at this level and do not forget that dance at a professional requires almost daily commitment and pushing to improve.
