Chronic asthma dog dander?
chronic asthma dog dander what to do? I have a 2 year old American bulldog mix pit. When we got they said it was U.S. only. I use to have childhood asthma, but since I had a dog of the worst managed. Every morning I have to use the machine Nebulizer breathing. We love this dog and are struggling for what to do. My girlfriend tells me that since I am that I can try to take the dog to the shelter alone. But I can not just bare. My girlfriend thinks I'm the opposite when I say over and over again that I can breathe that something must be done. I do not want to put it down. I can not take care of it and girlfriend is lazy to help clean the house. I'm just so lost I need ideas.
I fully understand! I had two pet rats and a day out of nowhere I developed an allergy to them. Dandruff my airways constrict and for a long time I did not know why I could not breathe. I went to the emergency room and told me I had severe bronchitis. I was 3 breathing treatments and at night I was sleeping on the couch with a fan blowing directly at my face in HIGH just to get air into my lungs. When I found out it was my rats have found a ransom of rat 2 hours north of me and forced them not to … I did not want the feed the snakes tested. So I totally understand where you come from … it is impossible to live at home, the man does not understand and therefore is felt by you, but you love your dog. My suggestion is to definitely NOT take him to a shelter. Not only should never have a dog but did not mention that your dog is a Pitt mix. 80% of dogs (or better) in the shelters are mixtures of Pitt. I have a pitt mix of me and I love her, but more and more people are watching a dangerous breed (mixed or not) these days. The chances of finding your dog any type of house (good or bad), while in a home are slim and none. I suggest that ask your friends or friends of friends who want and are willing to take responsibility for a dog to take him for you. Someone you know so you can keep updated about how he is doing. If you need to find a home via the internet, DO NOT place a "free to good home" ad. There are people known as "Loggers" seeking pet free, go home with a child at times, and come to believe they are very happy to have her dog. These people will these "free good home" pets to the auctions where they sell to different companies. Your pet that you think you are in a loving home is were to be tested in the production of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, household items … etc. If you must use the Internet to place an ad calling for "quota Re-homing of AT LEAST $ 25. loggers not stand to make a profit from an animal that will spend more money to buy then what I would do to turn around and sell. Pets are a lifetime commitment and should be treated as such exceptions, but they have to do when it comes to not being able to fill your lungs. Good luck to you and take seriously my advice, please!
