What's this? (Picture included!)?
I found this in a box full of things in the house of mediums A. anyone know what this is or where it came? Unfortunately I http://i31.tinypic.com/14lh7yp.jpg http://i26.tinypic.com/zjgflw.jpg did not have a digi camera, I used my iPhone to take photos and it does not fit well with the accent, but it seems in hand. feet and hands look as if someone had cut and shaped the, iron may be, and bent under the foot. I'm almost 90% sure it was handmade.
My first thought was a Voodoo Louisiana, but looking closer it seems like a sculpture of a sorcerer, talisman to ward off evil spirits Indian …. it is done in detail. If you have the opportunity, I would take one of these old road shows, he Interestingly enough a department of anthropology or researcher will be able to evaluate it for you.
