Handmade Wild

Handmade Wild

As a vegetarian, would it be bad to buy a bag of recycled leather?

I am a vegetarian who does not believe that killing animals is inherently wrong - because in the wild, this is what happens all the time (ref. the food chain). I, however, according to the industrialization of slaughter of animals for products of any kind – as it becomes animal commodities, not sentient beings. My order today, however, is for some moral guidance. If I buy a handmade, recycled leather bag (ie, a bag made by a designer with pieces of leather garments age etc.) that is in conflict with my beliefs? Money they spend on this bag is not going to the leather industry (since this bag is made by an independent designer using recycled materials), therefore would not support industry the killing of animals directly. What do you think? Thanks in advance.

I know what you're saying, but there are two issues to be overlooked: 1. The fact that you're still saying, "Hey, I like leather, please proceed to the subject material, thank you" are using their money to ask for more leather products. 2. You will always be playing and recalled the fact that you are carrying around the skin of an animal that died as a result of industrialization to kill animals for products … you're against the State. I am against buying products made by unethical means (such as child labor), and even if you bought it second hand, which had been constantly reminded that some children are in a factory somewhere, is making pennies a day and malnutrition. No thanks, I do not need that.
