use the power to the rear of a Peugeot 406 estate [2004]?
The question is to try to get a cable through the wall – I can not find a bushing used as the only thing I found – the top is a small cable [6mm?] to the extreme left [looking in the engine compartment-] up and just before the wing on the drivers side. Can anyone tell me exactly where it is an eyelet / hole to pass through the bulkhead. It was the car of my father and he just left us – I need to treat this car with the ultimate respect and care – there is no way I can risk damaging it in any way by drilling a hole "blind" if i hit something the other side, or add an "open wound" for the rust to get in as a compromise, is there a place I can "type" supply 35/40amp inside the car I'm usually not a person of compromise, but in this case [see last paragraph] I prefer the bin trailer brand of the car in any way. Has anyone tried to pass a cable under the car? Is there sufficient attachment points?
If you want draw 35 to 40 amperes from the battery, you will need a minimum 10 gauge wire. And if you do not want to drill holes here and there, yes you can install an undersea cable the car. I have experience running 10 gauge son through the firewall "for an ammeter on the Table board. And I used a rubber plug behind the radio sector. I met with insulation and should stand on my head under the table board to find my own son. But under the car, just take a brake hoses. Attatch your wiring with NO SPLICES line braking with plastic ties. DONT need to spray undercoat, because you always want to see areas of rusted brake line if they develop. Once you arrive at the rear of the car, you can use anywhere to attach the framework son. Maybe one day you will remove these son easily simply by cutting the plastic ties? You can buy a battery charger DUAL. If you buy a second battery 12 volt alternator to charge Battery No. 1, then add the excess to the battery voltage # 2. I bought years ago for being a camper / Toyota I had.
