How do you use a sustain pedal when recording on computer Protools?
I have a normal stage piano, with midi inputs and midi outputs. I want to run Akoustik piano, in protools. I have the piano connected via USB midi cables. The piano has a sustain pedal, but does it works in protools? how do i make it work? How can i get that sustain effect???
you play the piano as normal and hold the pedal down as and when you need too. The notes will sustain on the piano, not on the software as such, but will be recorded on pro tools as a sustained note.
