How many tattoo apprenticeship cost? and how long have you been an apprentice?
there are a lot of different factors that go into it. Each store is different. even store up the street may be different then the store two blocks down. everyone has policies differ on how things go. some stores do not charge at all for learning, some do. some stores are not even hire staff (as someone suggested finding a job as assistant to the store) and some do. it really depends. some stores charge about 5000 $ 2 courses for years, some charge $ 200 per month ($ 2,400 / year) for a number of hours (like, say, 1500 hours). these are all real examples shops in my area. the shop i started my learning did not charge me anything. it's just the way they did. they I tip at the end of the night if I work for had done, so that was pretty cool. perhaps after a year i leave this store, because they were really trying to restrain myself, I'm not trying to sound arrogant, but I think the owner was jealous of my potential because I was an artist a way better than him, so I left. i continue my learning in a much better workshop. they instructed their apprentices 200/mo which is where I got this example from. and while some sellers specify the number of years you have to apprentice for, this store has just said you need to be in store for 1500 hours. at least I think it is, I do not remember. anyway, they did not even load (apparently I was only the second in their 10 year history they have no charge) because they were so impressed with my work. I only 300 hours with them before they let me start tattooing because they saw that i was so eager to learn and I I learned so quickly surpassed all others who have been there over a year. I was there maybe 2 months and I started tattooing. essentially the whole point of this story is to tell you that every place is different and it will probably also depend on the level you jurisdiction. i, in no case began as a tattooist fantastic, but they knew I get there quickly. I have much to learn, you'll never stop learning in this area is one of the great things about it. you wil continue to improve, even after you're amazing, you always get better if you drive it. good luck with everything and do not be discouraged if it's something that fascinates you.
